So what can i tell you About Me?

I am married and a Mum to three grown up sons and two step children.

I love family I am like Nora Walker in the TV Drama 'Brother's & Sister's' and love nothing more than having my family all around me.

I Love Christmas its my favorite holiday with all the lights and decorations, I just wish it would snow on Christmas day!!

My love of photography soon began after being given my first box brownie camera at the age of 6. I soon realised that a picture captured is not only an image but also an emotional story for all to see for eternity.

I did not start out as a photographer, I have had other jobs, loads in fact to quote the words from the song 'Wear Sunscreen' I was one of those 35 year old that never knew what they wanted to do with their life!! I had two passions Interior Design and Photography, but was constantly told to get a proper job..... Then in 1995 I met the man that is now my husband, and within 6 weeks of us deciding we wanted to be together he got shipped off to America, but 6 weeks later he came back to the UK and like the movie 'Pretty Woman' he whisked me off my feet along with my sons and took us all back to America, where we lived in West Palm Beach, boy that was the life and I loved every moment of it, two years later we moved to Old Saybrook, Conneticut and if I loved West Palm Beach, I was head over heels in Old Saybrook, we had the perfect house set in the woods and I never wanted to leave. But in 1999 James was told to get himself back to the UK as there was another job that needed his attention!! So on January 6, 1999 my heart was broken, I sat and cried for days!!! But just when we were getting settled in the UK, James was offered a job that was too good to pass up and we were off again, this time to Stratford, Ontario, Canada and again I fell in love with another country that I wasn't born in but have adopted as my own!

So how did all these moves lead me to a change of career? It was whilst I was in Canada that I met my best friend Roberta, who also loves photography and I decided that I would enrol myself in Photography, but it wasn't until we moved back to the UK that I decided to turn my passion in to a business.

I am still as passionate today as I was when I first saw a photograph develop in front of my eyes in the dark room, and whilst I am now a convert to digital for the business, I still have a voigtlander camera that my Dad left for me. I Love Photography it is my passion.
